On my own

Living day to day

Paycheck to paycheck

You see me suffer

You caused my pain

And yet you wonder

Why I feel my sorrow

Where has the love gone

Can love vanish

In one day

All can be lost

Or was it the fading

Of the hope

That caused 

Our dismay

The fading of the hope

That our love was to be

Long

Meaningful

And true
